So I stopped by the Macon Library today, a neighborhood library in Bedstuy on Lewis and Macon, just to relax. And then I looked up and saw the images below. They were on a bulletin board titled, “Bed-Stuy Wall Of Fame. The board was simply a collection of artists and others who have lived in the neighborhood.
Bed-Stuy and its residents have been through so much these last few decades. Its good for young people to see that roses do grow out of concrete. Here are some of them…roses of course.
