Yesterday I went to the the 4th annual Brooklyn Book Festival. As usual, they had an awesome line up from Sonia Sanchez to Lupe Fiasco and it was all Free to the public. The day was full of talks, q&a, book signing, book selling, and not to mention pure inspiration.
The first person I saw was childrens author, illustrator and son of Walter Dean Myers, Mr. Christopher Myers. He was very sweet, nice, and awesome.

I went to a talk given by author,Edwidge Danticat , which was informative and inspiring. She is such a good writer and was so open to sharing her process, inspiration, and advice.
