So last week I decided to take a group of my students to the Metropolitan Museum and I must admit it was the best non-date I’ve been on in a while. I’ve been to the MET several times, but this go round, I visited a part I had neglected. It equaled total awesomeness. Call me a history geek, but it was such a blast exploring and finding out new things with black and brown kids who were just as excited.
