I am an educator, professor, teacher (whatever one you feel comfortable with calling me). My pedagogy is always in constant revision because the challenge for me constantly is to make education meaningful and relevant in the lives of my students. I partner in educating them (I do not do it alone, they participate along with their fellow peers), not for the banking of information, nor for the industrial preparation for the world, but by giving my students what I believe will make them have richer and impactful lives through: a critical thinking second nature, self-actualization, independence and interdependence, and the strength to wrestle with the hard questions and content and in the end see the rewards.
